Inspiring Creativity Through Celebration

It’s the Tuesday before a party, which means that it’s playlist time. I like to tuck playlist creation into my lunch time on Tuesdays, one more thing I’ll find I did for myself during Friday’s party prep.
(Oh thank you HJ from the past!)
Summer music is such a time-honored tradition. You want to properly reflect those memories of riding in a hot car–skin sticking to the boy next to you–ghost stories with a sticky bottle of MD 20/20–sun tanning on a trampoline, all of these memories, wonderful.
As a woman solidly into her middle age, I can’t pretend that my mix is hip. I can pretend it suits me just fine.
We’ll take my Zune player outside and hook it up to the radio.
This playlist is cover-heavy with some classics thrown in for good measure. After work, porchy porch music. No serious thinking music, this is unwind with something cold in your hand music.
